The massive D - 310 Mk II’s design is primarily based upon our former D - 300 S; yet further improvements like a lower capacitance, better propagation properties and a higher flexibility have been implemented.

This coaxial cable’s core consists of 19 Matched Crystal (MC) OFC strands with a very dense and very pure silver coating.
The resistance of the core is: 1.10 Ohm/100 meter.
The resistance of the shielding is: 0.20 Ohm/100 meter.
Latter very low value prevents hum problems in complex grounding situations.
The inner 7.25 mm. diameter insulation is made of polyethylene foam with Nitrogen as filler.
The result is a very low capacitance of 56 pF/meter.
The Nitrogen also provides a very good protection against oxidation.
The outer shielding is braided in 2 layers with a total of 432 Matched Crystal (MC) OFC wires with a dense and very pure silver coating.
The D - 310 Mk II’s outer jacket is made of tan-metallic coloured HULLIFLEX ® with an external diameter of 11 mm.

The D - 310 Mk II can be used as massive interlink of extreme high quality between preamps. and power amps. Also as a speakerline this cable will perform extremely well. When internal wire and shielding are soldered together the total resistance is a very low: 1.7 Ohm/km.
The main purpose of the D - 310 Mk II however is the application in Home Theatre setups as a very good and stable 75 Ohm video cable.
For single-ended audio interlink purposes our high quality 11.3 mm. RCA type connector C - 11.3 is available.

The D - 310 Mk II is available on 100 meter reels.
Shipping: 1 x 100 m. reel in a 320 x 320 x 220 mm. box with a total shipping weight of 16.83 kg.
When shipped on 100 meter reels, both ends are closed with caps to prevent any entrance of chemically deteriorating material.

The D - 310 Mk II is furthermore available stereo pair box packed with RCA (unbalanced) connectors in 0.6, 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2 m. lengths.
Other lengths can be made on specification.
